TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama football program released its 2020 schedule, and it looks a lot different from what Crimson Tide fans had become familiar with.
Instead of facing Mississippi State in November, Texas A&M has been moved to the rear fo the schedule. The Crimson Tide will host the Aggies on Nov. 21, just seven days before Auburn visits.
Alabama also gets Georgia as its rotating team from the SEC East. That game will also be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium, on Sept. 19
Between Sept. 26, when Nick Saban's alma matter Kent State returns, and Nov. 14, Alabama will have just one home game, Oct. 17 vs. Mississippi State.
The Crimson Tide will open the 2020 campaign against Southern California on Sept. 5 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It marks the eighth consecutive year Alabama has opened the season with a neutral-site game with the Crimson Tide holding a perfect 7-0 mark in those contests.
The 2020 SEC Championship Game is slated for Saturday, Dec.5, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
