Alabama's eligibility tracker heading into 2019 fall camp

With two recent departures, Crimson Tide no longer heading into 2019 season with a full roster

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Heading into training camp, the University of Alabama football team is already down two players at positions where depth was already a concern, tight end and linebacker.

While that’s obviously not ideal, especially with the regular-season opener roughly a month away, neither Kendrick James nor Eyabi Anoma was considered a starter. James was also going to miss four games due to a suspension.

Alabama was already under the 85-man limit before they left.

Here’s a look at each position group, with each player’s signing class, number of stars -- 1-5, 5 being the best -- and overall ranking as recruits by 247Sports composite.

* indicates recruited at another position.
