Bears add QB Tyler Bray back to the practice squad

Tyler Bray has returned to the fold after being cut.

The Bears on Tuesday signed quarterback Tyler Bray to the practice squad.

Bray had been on the 53-man roster since the Bears' Thanksgiving week game at Detroit following the shoulder injury suffered by Mitchell Trubisky against the Minnesota Vikings. He was cut from the 53-man roster Saturday when the Bears activated Kyle Long from injured reserve.

To make room on the practice squad for Bray, the Bears cut offensive lineman Willie Beavers.
