The Bears have hired Chris Jackson as a defensive assistant for his second stint in Chicago after he was with them last training camp with the NFL’s Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship. Most recently, Jackson served as the wide receivers coach at Liberty High School in Peoria, Ariz. He played as an NFL receiver with the Bucs, Seahawks, Titans, Packers and Dolphins, for a season each, and was the Arena Football LEague Rookie of the Year in 2000 with the LA Avengers. He helped the Philadelphia Soul to an Arena Bowl XXII championship in 2008. In college, he was the favorite receiver at Washington State of Ryan Leaf.
