No experts predict the Bengals upsetting the Seahawks in week 1

The Cincinnati Bengals are heavy underdogs in week one. Here's why no experts predict them upsetting the Seahawks on the road.

It doesn't come as a surprise to see that the Bengals are not highly regarded in their matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Pete Carroll's team has a fantastic track record when playing at home, and Seattle is likely to be a contender in 2019.

However, in a game of inches, it is still a bit surprising to see that not a single expert is predicting an upset in this contest.

According to NFL Pick Watch, 100 percent of NFL experts are picking Seattle to win at home against the Bengals. Pick Watch lists the predictions of over 100 NFL experts from around the globe as they attempt to predict the winner of each week one contest.

Surprisingly, not a single vote was cast for Cincinnati in an upset. The Redskins are the only other team this week who has been picked to win zero times according to NFL experts on Pick Watch. They too have an incredibly difficult matchup on the road against the Eagles.

The Texans received the 3rd fewest amount of win predictions as they travel to New Orleans to face the Saints. Just 6 percent of expects believe Houston will pull off the upset.

Most betting lines have the Seahawks favored somewhere between 8.5 to 9.5 points against the Bengals in week one. Cincinnati will be without A.J. Green as they take the field on opening day.

The odds are certainly stacked against the Bengals this week, but stranger things have happened. What better way to stick it to all of these experts than to come back to Cincinnati with a win.
