Just one game into the 2019 regular season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are moving on from a recent draft pick along the offensive line.
Reserve offensive tackle Caleb Benenoch was waived by the team Monday:
A fifth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft out of UCLA, Benenoch struggled with injuries early in his career, appearing in 28 games with six starts over his first two seasons. He started all 16 games at right guard for the Bucs in 2018, but was widely considered one of the weakest links in the starting lineup.
Benenoch was moved back to tackle ahead of the 2019 season, with Alex Cappa taking over his starting spot at right guard.
