Cal basketball has scheduled a home-and-home series with UNLV, starting with a game in Berkeley next season, according to Jon Rothstein.

The Bears will face UNLV on Nov. 19, 2019 in Berkeley this coming season, and the return game will be played in Las Vegas during the 2020-21 season.

Like Cal, UNLV has a new head coach, T.J. Otzelberger. Otzelberger was head coach at South Dakota State University, leading the Jackrabbits to two NCAA Tournaments and one NIT appearance in his three years at the helm. (Here are Otzelberger's contract details, if you're intrested.)

Otzelberger replaced Marvin Menzies, who was fired March 15 after UNLV went 17-14 overall and 11-7 in the Mountain West Conference this past season.

Here is report from the Las Vegas Sun on where the Runnin' Rebels' program stands heading into next season.
