Eagle on the first hole sparked a seven-under round of 64 by the Bears' star senior

With one amazing shot (in the video above), Collin Morikawa triggered a day during which he zoomed to the top of the individual leaderboard and Cal surged into the team lead at the Pac-12 Golf Championships at Eugene, Ore.

Morikawa's 100-yard eagle on the day's opening hole set the tone as he fired a seven-under-par 64. The national player of the year candidate has a one stroke lead over Utah's Kyler Dunkle with the tournament set to conclude on Wednesday.

Cal leads by three strokes over UCLA and four over Stanford.
