Cardinals promote QB Kanoff to active roster.

The Arizona Cardinals today announced that the team has elevated quarterback Charles Kanoff to the active roster.

They have also released wide receiver Jalen Tolliver.

Kanoff (6-4, 219) has spent the entire season on the Cardinals practice squad after originally joining the team in May as an undrafted rookie free agent from Princeton. A Pacific Palisades, CA native, Kanoff set Princeton career records for passing yards (7,510) and completions (655) while setting Ivy League and school single-season records in 2017 as a senior with 3,474 passing yards and a 73.2 completion percentage. He was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 after starting all 10 games and completing a school-record 284 passes on 388 attempts for 3,474 yards and a school single-season record 29 passing touchdowns. In his career, Kanoff threw for 7,510 yards and 43 touchdowns on 655-of-1,015 attempts (64.5%).

Kanoff will wear jersey #6.
