Don't know about you, but I've always been a big fan of the Madden series. Every year I play and really gets me excited for the new NFL season that's approaching. Back in college I played 3 to 4 games a night and even got ranked into the top 250 in the world. Even though I don't play to that extreme anymore, I still love playing the game with friends and in my free time.
While the Cardinals have talented players on their team, the top players in the league get a rating of at least 90. Only one Cardinals player got that is cornerback Patrick Peterson. Only 3 CBs in the league are rated higher than him — San Francisco’s Richard Sherman at 93, New England’s Stephon Gilmore at 94 and Jacksonville’s Jalen Ramsey at 96.
Chandler Jones has to be the biggest snub from the Madden ratings. He's only at an 82 overall. He was given low athleticism ratings and was criminally low with just a 70 rating in finesse pass-rush moves.
Cardinals will have some interesting rookies to play with. Gamers will be testing out Kyler Murray with his 91 speed and 90 agility (which is above average for even WRs). Kyler should have been made faster and quicker based on fellow QB Lamar Jackson. Jackson was given 94 speed and 95 agility. Murray from watching tape, was quicker and faster. That should change once they see Murray on the field in the pros.
Andy Isabella comes in with a blazing 95 speed rating which is near the fastest in the entire league (only 6 players are faster across all positions.) Deep speed is always great to have for the return game and for whipping the ball downfield over the defenders heads. Isabella will be a hot commodity in draft leagues.
