With the Indianapolis Indians down 2-1 in the top of the ninth, Jake Elmore hit an RBI single off Columbus closer Nick Wittgren and sparked a four run rally to defeat the Clippers 5-2.
Connor Higgins made his season debut and tossed two innings in relief for Burlington, allowing one run on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts. The Bees defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits 5-3.
Eli Lingos made his season debut for the Lake County Captains and allowed three runs on three hits with three walks and a strikeout in a 6-0 loss to Great Lakes Loons.
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia went 0-for-4 during a rehab start at Greenville. He reached base once on a walk in the third inning and scored a run on a single by Triston Casas. West Virginia tied the game at 5-5 in the ninth inning but Casas won the game for the Drive by driving in the walk-off run on a sacrifice fly in the tenth inning.
