Hurricanes Facing FSU With Reinforcements on the way

Hurricanes Getting Several key Players Back Just in Time for FSU.

The Miami Hurricanes (4-4, 2-3) travel to Tallahassee Saturday to take on Florida State in the annual rivalry matchup.

Miami should be strengthened by the returns of several key players on both sides of the ball.

Both Dallas and Pinckney were injured in the Georgia Tech game and did not play in the win at Pittsburgh.

Joining them back on the field is wideout Jeff Thomas who is coming off suspension. Thomas has been disappointing to say the least, whether it be on the field or off.

He does have the ability to stretch the field and at any moment flip the field with his speed. In what could be a low scoring game, one or two big plays could make all the difference.

Speaking of big plays, no Hurricane has played bigger this season than DeeJay Dallas. Cam Harris has stepped right up and played exceptional football in his absence, now with Dallas back it makes the offense much more dangerous.

Whether Dan Enos chooses to call his number enough is the weekly question. The Hurricanes would be wise to attack a Florida State run defense that ranks 77th nationally, allowing 169 yards per game on the ground.

Miami has been inconsistent on offense from week to week and the same can be said for the Seminoles.

With Jarren Williams back in the starting quarterback spot, perhaps the offense can find its groove

Florida State (4-4, 3-3) has also struggled to put up points at times, but are still averaging 29.4 points per game as opposed to Miami at 26.8.

The Seminoles enter the game fresh off a 35-17 win against Syracuse. Prior to that they lost to Clemson and Wake Forest by a combined 67-34 margin.

In a rivalry game, especially this one, anything can happen. Miami seemingly plays up or down to the competition weekly and Florida State is a justifiable home favorite.

Hurricanes' fans make the biannual trek to Tallahassee in strong numbers no matter the records. If Manny Diaz (FSU grad) can't get the squad up for this huge challenge on the road, it would be a massive letdown to say the least.
