Oregon Stays Alive, but can Georgia?

Mark Blaudschun

Oregon Stays alive, but will Georgia suffer a Gator bite?

We are struggling, dealing with the dreaded 3-3 week. This has to change as we move into November and the nitty-gritty part of the season.

THE GAMES, THE PICKS

Michigan-20 at Maryland

Wolverines are on a roll-finally. Maryland won't slow them down. Michigan wins and covers.

MICHIGAN 38, MARYLAND 14

Rutgers plus 20 at Illinois

Illinois is going after a .500 season, Rutgers is coming off a win--against Liberty. Going on a limb here and taking Rutgers to cover, not to win.

ILLINOIS 35, RUTGERS 21

Oregon-5 at USC

Ducks keep their hopes up with a must win over USC, which doesn't play the role of spoiler very well. Oregon wins and covers.

OREGON 49, USC 31

Texas-San Antonio at Texas A&M-38

Scrimmage for Aggies who still have Georgia and LSU on their schedule. They win and cover.

TEXAS A&M 51, UT-SA 10

GEORGIA VS. FLORIDA (Jacksonville) plus 6

SEC Elimination game. Tough call, but Georgia can hang on here for another few weeks. I just don't think the Dawgs will cover.

GEORGIA 24, FLORIDA 20

UTAH AT WASHINGTON-3.5

I'm probably wrong, but can't get warmed up to Utah, which is probably mistake. Chance for Washington to play the role of spoiler. Huskies straight up.

WASHINGTON 32, UTAH 27

LAST WEEK: 3-3

SEASON TO DATE: 24-30
