Philly LB called the Cowboys chokers, but Prescott, Martin shrugged it off.

Philadelphia won the bulletin board material prize this week as Eagles linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill said the Cowboys are historically chokers.

Dallas players and coaches were more measured in their comments this week.

Dak Prescott

“Winners worry about winning and losers worry about winners. So we’re focused on ourselves in this locker room about what we need to do to get better in each and every phase of this game and get ready for this week. We’re not worried about he said, she said.”

Zack Martin

On blocking against Philly’s talented defensive line:

“We’ve got to compete with them. They’ve got a really good front four. A lot of times they just rely on their front four to get home. So we’ve got to be bone on bone.”

On playing through injury:

“Our toughness as a team has been really good. A ton of guys have played through a lot of stuff this year. That just speaks to the character of our team and how important it is for these guys in here to fight for the other guys in the locker room.”

Scott Linehan

On Ezekiel Elliott responding to quantity of touches:

“He’s certainly got a pretty big work load for us. But he’s in such great shape, he’s prepared himself this year to be able to play the snaps he’s playing. He’s just kind of built for this, to be able to play long term and I think he’s doing great.”

Rod Marinelli

On the key to slowing down the Eagles’ offense:

“All I know is when they run the ball this year they win. So it’s highly on our mind. We know we’ve got to take this run game away.”

On Philadelphia’s dynamic offense:

“They’re gelling right now and we know what we’re getting into. You’ve got a lot of weapons to defend in this game.”
