Falcons fans didn't have to scroll too deep into Adam Schein's article ranking the Top 9 NFL offenses of the 2019 season. Schein rated the Falcons ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams and even New Orleans Saints at No. 1 on the list.
Schein didn't explain anything too groundbreaking in his reasons for why Atlanta was ranked No. 1, but he absolutely raved about the Falcons offense, praising Matt Ryan, the team's wide receiver depth, Devonta Freeman's health and the team's efforts to fix the offensive line this offseason.
In his conclusion, Schein wrote: "This offense is poised to reach new heights in the coming months."
As we've said previously, these types of ranking lists don't mean much once the season starts, but still, it's always nice to receive recognition, especially when its deserved. If the Falcons aren't the top offense in the league this year, they could be darn close in the Top 5 or even Top 3 in terms of both points and yards.
The Falcons offense is the main reason to be excited for Atlanta heading into the 2019 season. Even with major concerns on defense, Atlanta could easily turn into a Super Bowl contender again this fall behind its offense.
