BREAKING: Jamil Burroughs Decommits from UGA

Defensive Tackle Jamil Burroughs has decommitted from the University of Georgia.

The defensive tackle from McEachren committed to UGA in September of 2018 but has since changed his mind.

Based off the wording though it seems as if Burroughs is not going to be looking back to UGA as he re-opens his recruiting process.

We will keep you posted on the story throughout the day as we get more details.

Was this mutual? Georgia doesn't typically lose kids from Cobb County that they're serious about. What's this do for their scholarship count?

Yea I believe it's fairly mutual, so this knocks UGA down to just 16 commits in the 2020 class, and everything we are being told is they aim to take 22-23.

It's still early but they want to leave room for the top guys like Zach Evans, Arik Gilbert, Darnell Washington, and even Jordan Burch who is still a realistic opportunity.

Wow! What do you think happened? UGA making room for something bigger?
