Georgia fans celebrated after winning another Georgia-Florida recruiting battle in Joshua Braun, after he announced he will be a Dawg last night. Braun picked Georgia over Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia Tech. He will add to the embarrassment of riches that Georgia already has in the 2020 class, and add to the laughing stock that Florida has become with their ineffective recruiting.
Braun, from Live Oak, Florida, had an in-state pull to the Florida Gators, and has a family tie with Georgia Tech. His brother, Parker Braun, is a current member of the Georgia Tech football team. In the end, it would be the Georgia Bulldogs gaining his commitment.
Braun, standing at 6'6 335 lbs. is a massive dude. He'll easily fit into the mold at Georgia where bigger is better. Pittman's ability to develop potential in the biggest of linemen is what makes him an elite offensive line coach, and is what ultimately sold Braun on the idea of going to Georgia.
Braun told 247sports, "I like all the coaches, but I like Coach Pittman specifically. I like his coaching style. I like how he could develop me..."
Braun is ranked the 286th overall prospect in the class of 2020 for now, but he'll most likely shoot up in the rankings throughout the year.
Braun has become the 4th offensive line commit for Georgia in 2020, which most likely leaves one spot left for Coach Pittman. Expect him to keep this spot reserved for a guy like Sedrick Van Pran.

As if Broderick Jones, Tate Ratledge, Akinola Ogunbiyi, and Joshua Braun wasn't already the most impressive offensive line class in 2020, they'll add another name soon. This wall that Coach Pittman is building will be able to push around almost every defensive front in the country.
And Pittman's work on the recruiting trail is not going unnoticed. In fact, a few big name running backs had a little bit to say about it.
Kendall Milton certainly took notice of UGA's newest addition. And if that wasn't good enough, Milton and Braun will both be on official visits to UGA this weekend.
First up, Georgia commit, Akinola Ogunbiyi points out Georgia's newest get. Five star running backs Kendall Milton and Zachary Evans definitely took notice of it.
Tate Ratledge, another huge get for Georgia, also liked the new commit, and wanted to make sure that Georgia's top running back targets knew about it as well.
While Georgia's 2020 recruiting class has still has tons of work to do, it makes it a whole lot easier when you have a monster group of offensive linemen who can also recruit.
