Rockies 8, Orioles 6
Turning point: Trevor Story's 2-run home run followed by Nolan Arenado's solo shot allowed the Rockies to rally from a 5-1 deficit and tie the score, setting the stage for Story's walk-off, two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth. Story recorded career home runs 100 and 101 in what was his 448th big-league came, 22 games quicker than Alex Rodriguez, the previous holder of the distinction of quickest shortstop in MLB history to reach 100 home runs.
Swing of things: Story and Arenado both homered twice. Story and Arenado became the 11th Rockies duo to homer twice each in the same game. The last time it happened was May 31 last season at Cincinnati when Arenado combined with Charlie Blackmon. ... Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with one RBI in his Coors Field debut. He has now hit safely in all four games in which he has appeared.
On the mound: Scott Oberg worked the ninth and earned his second win without a loss.
FYI: It was Arenado's 17th career multi-home run game.
