Chris Rusin (mid-back strain) and Jake McGee (left knee sprain) are on their way back to the active roster.

Rusin left Sunday afternoon to join Triple-A Albuquerque in Tacoma, and begin his rehab assignment by pitching an inning on Monday. McGee is headed to the Phoenix, where he will throw a bullpen session at Salt River Field on Tuesday, and then join Albuquerque when it opens a series in El Paso and pitch an inning Wednesday.

He also expects to throw an inning in Fresno on Friday, and next Monday, then join the Rockies in Philadelphia for their three-game series with the Phillies May 17-19.

Rusin, projected to be the versatile left-handed reliever who could serve as both along man and left-handed specialist, has been sidelined since early in spring training. McGee, a veteran left-handed reliever, was played in the IL April 2.

They are among four players currently on the Rockies Injured List.
