Down on the Farm: Rockies Minor League Affiliates Go 4-for-4 on Friday

The Rockies four minor-league affiliates, just like the big league team, enjoyed Friday night.

All four affiliates won, sharing in the celebration of the Rockies 8-6, walk-off win against the Orioles at Coors Field.

AAA Albuquerque needed 10 innings, but beat Las Vegas, 5-4, although Peter Lambert had a no-decision despite seven shutout innings in his start. AA Hartford beat New Hampshire 4-2. High A Lancaster came up with a four-run eighth inning to pull out an 8-6 win against Rancho Cucamonga. And Low-A Asheville stunned the Yankee's Charleston affiliate, 11-6.

In Friday's Games:

AAA Albuquerque (24-25) won 5-4 in 10 innings at Las Vegas (A's). The Isotopes came up with a four-run 10th keyed by Sam Hilliard (.245) raising his RBI total to a team-best 44. Hilliard was 2-for-5 with his 12th double. Drew Butera (.326) was 3-for-5 with a double and 10th-inning RBI. Outfielder Noel Cuevas (.354) was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in the first game of his medical rehab assignment. DJ Johnson (2-0, 2.57) was charged with a blown save, allowing the game-tying run on two hits, in the ninth, but was credited with the win.

AA Hartford (26-21) won 4-2 at New Hampshire (Blue Jays). Rayan Gonzalez (1-0, 2.79) was credited with the victory, and Logan Cozart (2.33) earned his third save. Ashton Goudeau (2-3) started and allowed two runs, on earned, on five hits and a walk, striking out four. Alan Trejo (.308) was 2-for-4, putting the Yard Goats ahead 3-2 with a two-run home run, his sixth of the season, and Colton Welker (.309) was 2-for-3 with his fourth home run.

High A Lancaster (25-21) won 8-6 against Rancho Cucamonga (Dodgers). Sean Bouchard (.308) keyed a four-run eighth inning, doubling to drive in two runs and scoring a third on a wild pitch. Taylor Snyder (.235) added his first home run in the eighth. Ryan Rolison (2.08) had his first struggle in pro ball, allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits and four walks, striking out six. Austin Moore (3-0, 6.10) walked the first two batters he faced in the eighth, but retired the next three, including striking out two, to be credited with the win. Salvador Justo (3.38) earned his sixth save, striking out two of three batters he faced in the ninth.

Low A Asheville (19-28) won 11-6 at Charleston (Yankees). PJ Poulin (2-1, 2.88) worked three shutout innings, giving up one hit and one walk and striking out one, to be credited with the victory. Shelby Lackey (5.40) started and allowed four runs, three earned, on five hits and two walks, striking out four. Danny Edgeworth (.269) was 2-for-4 with his third home run, three runs scored and three RBI. Luke Morgan (.244) was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
