Farm Report: Rodgers Returns to Isotopes With Impactful Statement at the Plate

Rockies top prospect Brendan Rodgers was back in the lineup for Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday night.

And he made it clear he feels fine.

Rodgers was hit in the helmet by a pitch on Saturday night. He sat out Sunday's game. But he was back at work on Monday, showing no signs of any heistation following his Saturday incident.

Rodgers raised his average to .351, going 4-for-5 in the Isotopes 8-7 loss at Fresno with three runs scored, two RBI, and his eighth and ninth home runs.
