Left-handed pitcher Chris Rusin’s rehab assignment continues at AA Hartford, where he has made two appearances since being placed on the Yard Goats’ roster, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks, striking out five in four innings over two appearances.

Rusin, out since March 1 with a mid-back injury, previously made four appearances with AAA Albuquerque, where he allowed seven hits and four earned runs, striking out four and walking two in 5 1/3 innings.

Meanwhile, outfielder Noel Cuevas, who went on the injured list the day after his April 15 call-up from Albuquerque to the Rockies, is now on a rehab assignment with the Isotopes. Cuevas went 0-for-2 before suffering the strained left quad.

Before his call up, Cuevas hit .378 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 11 games with Albuquerque.
