On Deck: D-Backs Make Weekend Visit to Coors Field in NL West Matchup

The Rockies and D-backs share the Salt River Fields spring training complex. They, however, haven't seen each other since the end of spring. The Rockies have, however, faced the three other NL West opponents.

The Rockies have won the past two season series, both by 11-8 margins. The Rockies won eight of the final 10 games between the two teams a year ago. Zack Greinke, who is the scheduled starter on Sunday, was the winning pitche rin both of the D-backs wins, but he also suffered a loss on Sept. 21 last year, the last time he faced the Rockies.

The Rockies are coming off a four-game split at Milwaukee, winning the last two games and scored 11 runs in both. The D-backs are coming off a two-game sweep of the Yankees in Arizona.

The Rockies top two starters -- Kyle Freeland and German Marquez -- are set to start the games on Saturday and Sunday.

Catcher Chris Iannetta, who is on the injured list for the Rockies, is on a rehab assignment at Double-A Hartford.
