On Deck: No R&R When Rockies Travel to Fenway to Face Red Sox

The Rockies face a challenge with the Red Sox. Not only do they journey to Fenway Park, but the Red Sox have rebounded from an early struggle, winning 11of thier last 13 games. They are, however, only 4-7 against left-handed pitchers, which they will face on Tuesday in Kyle Freeland.

The Rockies have their 1-2 starters set for Fenway Park -- Kyle Freeland on Tuesday and German Marquez on Wednesday.

Rockies left-handed relievers Jake McGee and Chris Rusin both are scheduled for appearances with AAA Albuqerque Tuesday night. They will rejoin the team in Philadelphaia on Friday and have their status re-evaluated.

Red Sox have won five in a row including a weekend sweep of the Mariners by a combined score of 34-8. The Rockies have won three of their last four, but are 5-5 in the last 10 games.
