The Rockies host the defending NL West champion Dodgers for a three-game weekend series, inlcuding the Rockies home opener on Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 p.m., MDT.
The Rockies and Dodgers were tied for first place in the NL West at the end of the scheduled 162 games last year, which led to a one-game playoff for the division title. The Dodgers won that game, and the Rockies wound up an NL wild-card.
The Rockies have finished .500 or better against the Dodgers five times in the franchise's first 26 years. They went 12-6 in 2007, 11-8 in 2005, 10-9 in both 2017 and 2013, and 0-0 in 2011.
