Peter Lambert gets his fourth big-league start. He was roughed up last time out, being charged with eight runs in three innings against the Padres at Coors Field last Sunday. In his first two starts, however, he earned wins, both against the Cubs, allowing two runs in 12 innings. Hyun-Jin Ryu has become the Dodgers ace this year with a 9-1 record. He has no decisions the last two times out despite allowing only three runs -- just one earned run -- in 13 innings.
For all of Ryu's success this year, he hasn't faced the Rockies yet, which will be intresting. The key bats in the Rockies lineup have had success against him. Charlie Blackmon is hitting .333 and Nolan Arenado .579 against Ryu.
