The Rockies are looking for a sweep of a road series for the second time. They took both games in an April 15-16 visit to San Diego. It also would give the Rockies a .500 record on the road trip (4-4). After winning the first game in Boston, they lost four in a row (one at Boston and three at Philadelphia) and have now won two in a row at Pittsburgh.

Antonio Senzatela will make his first career start against the Pirates. Meanwhile, former Rockies right-hander Jordan Lyles will take the mound for the Pirates. He no-hit the Rockies for 7 1/3 innings a year ago when he was with the San Diego Padres.

Senzatela has only one win in his last four starts, in which time he has allowed 13 earned runs in 20 1/3 innings.

Lyles is coming off back-to-back wins at St. Louis and San Diego, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks, striking out 18 in 13 innings in those two games.

The Pirates roster only has eight career at-bats against Senzatela, but . Nolan Arenado (3-for-12 plus two walks), Ian Desmond (3-for-14), and Trevor Story (3-for-10) are familiar with Lyles.
