The Rockies are looking to complete a four-game sweep of the D-backs, and send Kyle Freeland to the mound. Freeland, who finished fourth in NL Cy Young voting last year, has struggled this season. He is 0-3 in his last six starts. The D-backs will counter with rookie Taylor Clarke, making his third big-league start, and facing the Rockies for the first time.

Freeland has an extensive history against the D-backs -- 113 plate appearances. Steven Souza, Jr., who has had the most success against Freeland of any D-backs player (.455), is on the injured list. Clarke has never faced a member of the Rockies at the big-league level.
