OUTLOOK: His resiliency and production for the Buckeyes in 2018 was one for the ages. In what was truly one of the most decorated single season college football performances of all-time, Haskins smashed the previous Big Ten records held by Drew Brees with 4,831 passing yards (which also led the nation) and 50 touchdown passes. He bided his time patiently waiting for an opportunity, backing up J.T. Barrett and would beat out Joe Burrow (LSU) for the starting job once Barrett departed. His performance this past season earned him 2018 Big Ten Player of the Year, Third Team All-American honors, the Rose Bowl MVP and a trip to NYC as a Heisman Trophy finalist. He can make every throw in the book and shows a natural feel for the game. Haskins has the potential to be a Pro Bowl caliber signal-caller at the next level.
