Texas defensive backs Kris Boyd and B.J. Foster escaped serious injury after being involved in a car accident.

Boyd, who is entering his senior season, posted photos on his personal Twitter account of his vehicle after it allegedly was rear-ended by another car earlier on Wednesday. He was the passenger in a car driven by Foster.

“Our angels had they hands over us today, “Boyd wrote. “Got rear ended and smashed! We’re doing a lot better. Thank you to those who reached out. Could’ve been gone but we here.”

Boyd recorded 53 tackles and a Big 12-best 15 pass breakups while starting 12 of 13 games last season.

Foster is part of the Longhorns’ decorated 2018 recruiting class.

“Thank God my brothers made it out safe,” Texas senior defensive lineman Jamari Chisolm later wrote on Twitter.
