I believe that no matter how good a pass rusher you have, it is absolutely necessary to have a minimum at least another very good pass rusher on the other side to take away double teams etc. from the really great one. That being said, of course it was LT. Next would be Strahan, JPP, Osi.

LT is number one without a doubt. He completely changed the game. Strahan is number 2 as he is a Hall of Famer. After that, it gets tough. I would go with Leonard Marshall and Justin Tuck. Honorable mention to George Martin, Osi, and JPP. Also, Andrew Headen was a great pass rusher off the bench.

I've often wondered what Lawrence Taylor's sack total would have bene had sacks been official stat when he first came into the league. Anyway. my four are Taylor, Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck and Leonard Marshall.
