WBB: Ducks to enter Pac-12 play No. 5 in the nation

Following a bye week, the Ducks remain at No. 5 in the nation with Pac-12 play beginning later in the week

Following an off week, Oregon remained at No. 5 in the latest AP Poll, receiving 641 points.

The Ducks are one of five Pac-12 teams ranked in the top-25, with two more receiving votes. Stanford is No. 6, followed by Oregon State (11), Cal (18) and Arizona State (22) — Utah and Arizona are sitting just outside the top-25.

Oregon secured a huge win a little over a week ago, taking down Mississippi State, who’s currently ranked No. 7 now. The Ducks’ lone loss on the season comes against Michigan State, who’s ranked No. 15.

UConn remains No. 1, receiving all 31 first-place votes. The Huskies are followed by Notre Dame, Louisville and Maryland.

The Ducks begin Pac-12 play on Friday at home against Washington. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
