When your offense is averaging 60 points per game and your defense is giving up just 19, there’s no reason to change things.
At least that’s the thinking of Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal when Oregon released its depth chart ahead of its week 3 matchup with visiting San Jose State.
For the third consecutive week, the Duck will trot out the same offense to begin the game. This offense is averaging 254 rushing yards and 279 passing yards per game, showing off a very good balance all around.
Defensively, Oregon welcomes back premier outside linebacker Lamar Winston Jr. to the lineup. Winston missed last week’s contest after leaving the season opener with a concussion.
Besides Winston, no other changes are reported on the depth chart but middle linebacker Adria Jackson and safety Jevon Holland both played well last week, paving the way for more time come Saturday.
