Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal must feel very comfortable with his team heading into Saturday’s showdown against No. 7 Stanford.
The Ducks released their depth chart today ahead of the game with the Cardinal and there were no big surprises, let alone changes amongst the two-deep.
With sophomore quarterback Braxton Burmeister out with an injury, the “OR” has been removed from the backup position and freshman Tyler Shough is now the primary replacement to Justin Herbert.
Good news for the Ducks is that left tackle Penei Sewell and right guard Dallas Warmack are both listed as starters still. They suffered ankle sprains in last week’s game against San Jose State but were full participants in Sunday’s practice.
Wide receiver Brenden Schooler, last week’s starter, is listed as an “OR” starter for the second straight week with Johnny Johnson III. Schooler left last week’s game with what looked like an apparent concussion, so his status is unclear against Stanford. But, Johnson came off the bench to catch two touchdown passes against the Spartans.
