Report: Patriots give Brandon King a two-year extension

The Patriots extend core special teams player Brandon King.

The New England Patriots have signed linebacker Brandon King to a two-year extension, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

King has been a core special team's player in New England for the past four seasons. Extending him, along with adding former Patriot Brandon Bolden this offseason and already having captain and pro-bowl special teamer Matthew Slater on the roster will give the third element of the Patriots team a frightening look for opposing teams.
