The New England Patriots have signed former second-round pick Jamie Collins three years after trading him.

The New England Patriots have signed free-agent linebacker Jamie Collins. The signing was confirmed by The Boston Globe's Jim McBride.

McBride also reported that Collins will be available to do on-field work with the Patriots as early as Thursday.

Collins was drafted by the Patriots back in 2013 and played in New England until 2016 until he was traded to the Browns. He played in Cleveland through 2018 and then entered free agency this offseason.

Last season, Collins recorded 104 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and four sacks.
