Preseason Award Watch List Roundup: Several Nittany Lions Recognized Ahead Of 2019 Campaign

Watch list season is well and truly underway in the college football world, and a few Penn State football stars found their names on the lists recognizing college football's top players at particular positions.

Though some like the Bednarik Award (best defensive player) and Maxwell Award (most outstanding college football player) released their watch lists over the last week, a few Penn Staters were recognized beyond the awards scope. Yetur Gross-Matos was named as a Big Ten preseason honoree, which recognizes the five best players in the conference's East and West divisions ahead of Big Ten media days in Chicago.
