NFL historian Chris Willis of Pro Football Journal and head of the Research Library at NFL Films is here to rank his favorite quarterbacks of that era. Predictably, the roll call begins with Hall-of-Fame Sammy Baugh, whom Willis calls "simply the best quarterback of the NFL's two-way era" and who too often is omitted from lists of the NFL’s best and brightest quarterbacks.
