The Houston Texans are hosting wide receiver Jaydon Mickens who is an unrestricted free agent. The Jacksonville Jaguars opted not to tender Mickens making him a free agent. The Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reported the visit between Mickens and the Texans.
Mickens is 25 years old and he appeared in six games during the 2018 season but was placed on they injured reserve after fracturing his ankle October.
Last season, Mickens had 12 punt returns for 4.9 yards a returns and averaged 24.8 yard a kickoff return.
In 2017, Mickens had six catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Mickens started his career with the Oakland Raiders in 2016 after being signed to a rookie free agent contract. He played his college football at Washington.
Intentions are for the Texansto lock up Mickens for the upcoming season.
