Here are a few key players for Baylor to watch:

QB Charlie Brewer – The Austin native established himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the Big 12, ranking sixth in the conference in passing yards with 2,327 and averaging 7.1 yards per attempt. He’s completed 197 of 326 passes with 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Brewer can also extend plays with his feet, collecting 277 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground.

WR Jalen Hurd – Hurd has appeared in all 11 games this season for the Bears. He’s totaled 905 yards on 66 receptions and 4 touchdowns, averaging almost 14 yards per catch. The senior also has 209 rushing yards on 48 carries and 3 touchdowns. The receiver ranks seventh in passing yards in the Big 12, and averages 102.5 all-purpose yards per game.

DT James Lynch – The sophomore out of Round Rock, Texas, has been effective on defense this season. He has 6 sacks and 36 total tackles. Lynch also racked up 9 tackles for a loss of 58 yards, 45 of those yards coming from sacks. He has the ability to pressure the quarterback, with six quarterback hurries, while also getting a couple of pass break ups.
