The Titans place Jack Conklin and Jonnu Smith on injured reserve with knee injuries

The Tennessee Titans formally placed both right tackle Jack Conklin and tight end Jonnu Smith on injured reserve with knee injuries on Tuesday.

Both players sustained those injuries in last Thursday night’s victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

To replace Conklin on the roster, the Titans signed offensive lineman Austin Pasztor, who has spent time in the NFL with the Jaguars, Browns and Falcons. Pasztor has played both tackle and guard in his career.

The Titans signed tight end Cole Wick to replace Smith on the 53-man roster. Wick has played in 11 NFL games, having spent time with the Lions and on the 49ers practice squad.

Smith’s season ends with 20 receptions for 258 yards and three touchdowns.

Conklin, who missed the first three games of the season while recovering from off-season ACL surgery on his left knee, re-injured that left knee against the Jaguars.
