Cousins emphasizes Vikings' complete game in 41-17 win against Dolphins

Cousins pointed out it wasn't just the offense that came up big in Minnesota's win on Sunday to go 7-6-1 this season.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins was asked about the importance of Sunday's outing for Minnesota after the Vikings put up 418 yards and scored a season-high in points in the 41-17 win against Miami.

Cousins noted it wasn't all pretty for the offense, but that Minnesota had a complete game with the defense and special teams coming up with big plays to contribute to the victory.

Marcus Sherels had a 70-yard punt return. The Vikings' defense held the Dolphins to 193 yards, including 85 in the second half. Miami had 75 of its 85 yards on one play as Kalen Ballage ran for a 75-yard touchdown. The Dolphins were 2 of 12 on third down and 0 of 2 on fourth down.
