Zimmer says new coordinator Kevin Stefanski 'never got panicked'

Vikings compiled 418 yards and scored on their first three drives under their new offensive coordinator.

After Minnesota posted a season-high 41 points, the spotlight was certainly on new offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski.

Stefanski, who took over for the fired John DeFilippo, drew rave reviews from the Vikings following a game in which Minnesota scored on its first three drives. The Vikings compiled 418 total yards in the 41-17 win against Miami on Sunday.

"I thought he did well," coach Mike Zimmer said of Stefanski. "He was very calm, never got panicked at all during the day. I think there were times when he said something like, 'I need to get back on schedule,' or something like that. But it wasn't really anything chaotic. I thought the other coaches helped him a lot today. I thought he did a good job.

Dalvin Cook led the way with a career-high 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
