Huskies' big lineman and pro prospect faced with another comeback

Washington senior offensive tackle Trey Adams had surgery scheduled on Wednesday for a now undisclosed injury (reported earlier as a back problem), according to multiple Seattle news outlets and first reported by Seattle Times, and he will miss the remainder of the season.

Adams, from Wenatchee, injured a knee at midseason as a junior and had surgery to repair it, appearing in only seven of 13 games in 2017.

Back-to-back injuries represent a huge setback for a player projected to be a No. 1 NFL draft pick, if not the top prospect in the Pac-12. He may consider playing a fifth season at Washington to reclaim his draft stock.
