Laramie -- The Mountain West Conference has released additional game times for three Wyoming home games.
Wyoming will kick off its Saturday, Sept. 14 home game versus Idaho at 3:00 p.m, M.T. That game will also be televised on ESPN3.
The Saturday, Oct. 19 Wyoming Homecoming game versus New Mexico will kickoff at 1 p.m., and be televised on AT&T Sports Net. The following week, Saturday, Oct. 26, the Cowboys will host the Nevada Wolf Pack in games scheduled to kick off at Noon, M.T., and also be televised by AT&T Sports Net.
Wyoming and New Mexico have a rivalry dating back to 1930. This year’s meeting will be the 72nd in the series. The Cowboys have won the last two meetings in 2017 and ‘18, and lead the overall series with 38 victories to UNM’s 33 wins.
Nevada and Wyoming will be playing each other for only the eighth time in history, but the series has been one of the most exciting in the two schools’ histories. Six of the previous seven meetings have been decided by a touchdown or less. The Cowboys also have a two-game winning streak against the Wolf Pack, having won the last two meetings in 2015 and ‘16.
All game times are tentative and subject to change.
The Cowboys have yet to finalize start times for the UNLV on Sept. 28 at War Memroial Stadium, and road games at Tulsa Sept. 21, Boise State Nov. 9, Utah State Nov. 16 and at Air Force Nov. 30.
